We Are looking for a Commercial Coordinator (06 Months Contract) in Abu Dhabi

Type: 06 Months Contract

Job Purpose

Coordinating all Administrative activities pertaining to Commercial & Business Development Division. Have to ensure smooth coordination of administration related activities among the various divisions within the Maritime Cluster as well as provide necessary support to the Director, Business Support to gather information & reports. Acts as the focal point for controlling and standardizing all documentation generated within the Division.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating all administrative activities pertaining to Business Support division to support operational activities & marine services at the various divisions under Maritime Cluster.
  • Prepare various reports and action plans derived from internal as well as external meetings with other Company divisions.
  • Assist in implementing the various service level agreements between Companies.
  • The role holder will act as a liaison between different departments within the Maritime Cluster.
  • The role holder will be the focal point for liaison with other Company divisions.
  • Other tasks as may be assigned by the Director, Business Support

People Management Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate with other administrative staff in the divisions various departments and supervise and guide them in work related issues as and when necessary

Knowledge & Skills

Educational and Technical Qualifications:           

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • Full in-depth knowledge of applicable quality standards.
  • Should be well versed in preparing business & project plans.
  • Must have a good understanding of PC based systems i.e. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Language Skills:

  • Excellent Written and spoken English is essential, Arabic is preferred
  • Excellent power point presentation skills in English for Senior Management
  • Strong report writing skills

Years of Experience:     

  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in similar role
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Marine / Ports Sector

Nature of Experience: 

  • Experience in working in similar role in Ports or marine related companies
  • Liaison and coordination with internal departments and other divisions in the Maritime Cluster
  • Liaison with all corporate support divisions to efficiently execute the administration related tasks
