Hiring Welding Inspector
Only currently in UAE will be considered
We are looking for an experienced Welding Inspector to ensure that all welding operations and processes adhere to the required standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have certification from the AWS Certified Welder Program and CSWIP 3.1.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of welding operations to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Verify welder qualifications and ensure compliance with AWS and CSWIP standards.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures
- Monitor welding activities, including pre-weld, in-process, and post-weld inspections.
- Identify defects and discrepancies, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all inspections performed.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure quality control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- Certification from the AWS Certified Welder Program.
- Certification in CSWIP 3.1.
- Proven experience as a Welding Inspector or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications or training related to welding inspection.
- Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for inspection and reporting
