About the job:
Based in Dubai and reporting to the head of Supply Chain Management, the Supervisor – Warehouse Operations shall be responsible for smooth functioning of the warehouse and to achieve targets/KPI’s by managing a team of 40-50 employees. The candidate should have good understanding of complete warehouse operations, should be able to handle the entire operations efficiently with minimum supervision by necessary planning, continuous monitoring, reporting and timely actions to enhance the satisfaction of relevant stakeholders. The role (mostly hand on job) involves coordinating with personnel of the department and with logistics service providers & suppliers. High performing candidate shall have career growth opportunity.
Key qualifications/criteria:
- Should be minimum a diploma holder (graduation is desirable).
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in warehouse operations.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience as supervisor in UAE (JAFZA experience is highly desirable).
- Automotive spare parts experience is highly desirable.
- Good leadership qualities (should have supervised a team not less than 20 pax).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good time management skill.
- Good delegation and teamwork.
- Good communication skills (English and Hindi is mandatory)
- Good PC skills
- SAP ERP exposure is advantage.
