Hiring Warehouse Manager

Job Description:

We are urgently hiring a Warehouse Manager with 6-10 years of experience in the UAE, specifically within the building materials industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics, with a focus on ceramic tiles, sanitary wares, and similar building materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation companies to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to monitor warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with sales, procurement, and other departments to meet customer demands and business objectives.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the UAE building materials industry.
  • Proven experience with ceramic tiles, sanitary wares, or similar building materials is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
