Care Talent Partners is seeking an outstanding candidate for the role of a Vice Principal for an international American curriculum school in Sharjah, UAE

The Vice Principal will:

• Oversee existing programs and practices, curriculum content and piloting of new programs.
• Actively participate and encourage staff participation in parent-teacher and other community groups, as a means of developing understanding, cooperation, and respect for school objectives and endeavors.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and entities to ensure smooth running of the school.
• Successfully lead the student and faculty population through periods of rapid growth while maintaining premier academic standards.
• Lead academic teams in all phases of curriculum design and delivery.
• Identify learning and training needs of employees and ensure that the relevant professional development activities are organized and participated in accordingly.
• Ensure that the instructional programs engage the learners in tasks that require analytical and critical thinking, questioning the known, problem solving and creativity, and that the programs address learners’ needs, interests, and skill levels

Requirements:

This is a core academic role. Candidate must have experience in assessments (internal and external) and data analysis.

Moreover, the candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Master’s Degree from a recognized University.
• Recognized Teaching Qualification
• 10 years’ educational experience with minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Vice Principal role, or 4 years’ as an educational advisor or equivalent
• Must have American curriculum experience
• Preference would be given to candidates who have experience working in UAE schools especially working in Sharjah with knowledge of American Curriculum.
