Description:

Urgent Opening for a Unix Admin role.

• System Administration tasks on Solaris 10 & 11
• Patch and OS upgradation.
• Solaris Volume Manager  & ZFS
• Assign storage LUN to the server.
• SUN LDOM Configuration & Administration.
• Problem diagnosing and troubleshooting on Oracle SUN Servers.
• Administration of Oracle Virtual Manager
• Coordinating with hardware vendors in case of hardware failure and getting it resolved.
• Shell scripting and programming like bash, ksh
• Configuring/installing and deliver the servers as per requirement to application teams.
• Coordinating with the Application team and Database team for resolve the issues.
• Disk administration (LVM, creation & extension of PV, VG, LV), File system management.
• Package Management with YUM and RPM (Installation, Updating and Rollback)
• Knowledge on Apache webserver
• Working on Change, Incident and Problem Managements.
