Job Summary & Responsibilities

  • The Treasury & Accounting Administrator is primarily responsible for confirming wire instructions in the proprietary 1031 exchange workflow software, Exchange Manager Pro, and assisting the Finance team in essential accounting and administrative responsibilities.
  • Verbally confirming wiring instructions for exchanges in Exchange Manager Pro software as well as for any reverse exchange disbursements not submitted through Exchange Manager Pro.
  • Collecting W-9s and proper supporting documentation for any reverse exchanges.
  • Emailing Exchange Manager Pro SaaS statements according to the scheduled invoice dates and ensuring that invoices are properly set up on a recurring basis.
  • Emailing monthly referral fee backup to referral partners and fielding follow-up questions.
  • Pulling bank statements and Exchange Manager Pro detailed reports to assist in the reconciliation processes.
  • Monitoring and taking ownership over all incoming emails to the inbox designated for disbursement requests.
  • Pulling fees within banking platforms to the appropriate fee account, investigating any fees which are unable to be pulled, and maintaining a list of any fees that have not been able to be pulled.
  • Performing additional tasks or responsibilities as needed by the Finance team.
  • Assisting with 1099’s and other tax related fillings.

Minimum Qualifications – Requirements of Position

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with the wiring of funds, including confirmation of wiring instructions.
  • Real estate experience and familiarity with 1031 exchanges is a plus

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

  • This is a full-time position with 40+ hours of work expected each week.
  • Start time is no later than 7:30am MT.
  • Reliable Internet connection
  • Minimal travel is expected with this position.
