Hiring Transport Head (Techno-Commercial Position)
Reporting to: General Manager
Work Location: Dubai, UAE
Team Strength in UAE: 125+ with 4 Direct Reports, 23 Office Staff and balance fleet drivers
Core Function: To lead and oversee the commercial and operational functioning of the Transport vertical within the organization. Optimize capacities & capabilities of transport infrastructure, maintain and develop relationships with key contract clients for Distribution services.
Any nationality is fine
Must understand UAE and GCC markets and operations, so he/she must have worked in this region
The role is more commercial than operational and hence he/she must know the P&L
Must also know corporate alliances/ tie-ups, budgeting, compliance, also outsource fleet and hence must know pricing
Must figure out ways to improve performance – necessary software tools are in place at the company
The mid-level team under him is very strong and sound
