Hiring Trade Finance Officer

Responsibilities –

• Receives and processes Trade Finance related requests made by various departments (such as issuance of Letters of Guarantees, Letters of Credit etc.)
• Coordinates with banks for the smooth and timely execution of Trade Finance transactions.
• Works closely with the operational (sales, business development, project management) and other departments (legal, finance), as well as representatives of the clients (if need arises), for the negotiation & drafting of the LGs, LCs, BG, while providing any necessary input requested.
• Participates in monitoring, controlling & reconciliation of outstanding, financial expenses files, documentation database etc.
• Participates in the preparation of internal reporting requirements.
• Assists periodically with the development of policy and procedures for Trade Finance Operations in coordination with Business Process Management department to ensure that our services are structured towards continuous improvement of processes and service delivery leading to sustained high-quality, cost-effective service provision to external/ internal customers.
• Ensures constant interaction and open communication with the relationship mangers, the product management, the business units and most importantly, the customers.
• The role holder is to ensure effective delivery of the customer value propositions where revenue generation can be expeditiously realized to achieve the desired financial objectives of the team and the bank.
• Timely responses to issues raised from other departments in relation to Trade finance.
• Review agreements that are signed off for Trade products and all relevant documentation processed.
