Hiring Telecom Engineer – ISP/OSP Projects

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Description:

Seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE, working on ISP/OSP projects in collaboration with leading telecom providers such as DU and Etisalat. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications engineering, with a focus on outside plant (OSP) and internet service provider (ISP) infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and implement OSP/ISP projects to expand and optimize telecom network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of ISP services and OSP infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal locations for network equipment, fibre optic lines, and related components.
• Manage the installation and configuration of telecom equipment, including routers, switches, and access points.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of telecom networks to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement necessary upgrades or optimizations.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and safety guidelines in all network deployment activities.
• Collaborate with DU, Etisalat, and other stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and technicians.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in telecom engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in telecom engineering, with a focus on ISP and OSP projects.
• Strong knowledge of fibre optic networks, network protocols, and telecom infrastructure.
• Proficiency in using telecom-specific software and tools for network design and analysis.
• Experience working with telecom providers such as DU and Etisalat is a plus.
• Fluent English communication is required.
• Proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
• UAE driving licence is mandatory.
