Dar Dubai Design office is currently looking for a Telecom Design Engineer.

Job Description

• Telecom (ICT & ELV) Engineer is responsible for designing the ICT & ELV related systems (SCS, IT Network/LAN, CCTV, ACS, IDS, FAS, CPMS, Audiovisual etc.) for various types of building projects and to ensure the integrity of high availability ELV infrastructure to ensure maximum performance and efficiency. The job scope will also include:
• Establishing ELV environment by designing system configuration, enforcing system standards and preparing design specifications.
• Coordination with different Engineering disciplines (inter-disciplinary coordination), Local Service provider(s), Authorities and Client, implementation of all ELV function and discipline required for the projects.
• The implementation of new technology solutions and improving resilience of the current environment.
• Deliver the project documents as per Company quality procedures and delivery timeline.
• Ensure ELV systems design compliance with regulatory, standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in the following;
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering,
• Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering
• IT or Computer Science,
• 3-5 years’ experience of IT & ELV System Design Preferably for Building Projects
• Solid understanding of IT & ELV systems
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to evaluate new approaches, systems, and design solutions
• Ability to perform design value engineering

Desirable:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate in voice, CCNA
• Certification on ELV systems and applications
