Position Available Immediately – Technical Reinsurance Officer

We are pleased to present the following professional role currently available at Kay International AMEA Limited’s corporate headquarters in the Dubai International Financial Center.

The role is part of our market commitment to continuously provide quality and efficient reinsurance underwriting and placement services in the AMEA region.

Position Summary

• Manage post-placement activities including preparation of facultative reinsurance slips and closings, Follow-up on pending subjectivities and requirements with cedents and brokers.
• Perform quality assurance and validation of system data prior to binding risks.
• Assist in the development and preparation of monthly business submission reports.
• Respond to queries from accounting and all the internal departments.
• Prepare reinsurance slips ensuring its accuracy with the original terms.
• Meeting departmental service standards in place for each process.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.

 Background and skills

• University Degree or Equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of commercial lines experience in the reinsurance industry as Reinsurance officer or Broking Assistant.
• Experience in processing reinsurance slips, endorsements, and post placement related activities.
• Well-organized with strong communication skills.
• Results-oriented, excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle deadline-oriented work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to take ownership of assigned work by exhibiting a high level of commitment and initiative.
• Ability to manage workload and proactively provide updates.
