Technical Maintenance Manager in Sharjah

Company: The largest PET and steel strap producer in Eastern Europe opens its production facility in the UAE. The company has over 28 years of experience in the field. Its clients include over 2 500 leading global metals, pipe, and woodworking and construction materials companies, whose daily business is dependent on transportation of large and heavy cargo by trucks, by railways or by ships.

Job description:

• Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
• Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
• Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
• Create and implement maintenance procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
• Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
• Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
• Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
• Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
• Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering;
• 5 years of experience in a leadership role at production facilities;
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, Arabic will be an advantage;
• Valid UAE driving license.

Benefits and condtions:

• Work schedule: 5 days a week from 9.00 to18.00 hrs
• Place of work: onsite (Sharjah)
• Fixed monthly salary: 10 000 AED
• Other compensations and payments, social package TBD with candidates.
