Hiring Talent Acquisition Officer

Dubai based leading construction company in looking for addition to its HR team and hiring a Talent Acquisition Officer on immediate basis.

About the job:

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality standards of recruitment service delivery across all levels in the company as well as delivering a positive and rewarding candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the process of creating the company’s manpower plan by coordinating with department heads and project managers to identify current/ future needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions, interview guides, and candidate evaluation criteria.
  • Being proactively identifying and sourcing candidates for available opportunities.
  • Creating and managing candidate talent pools for future requirements.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent across various departments and job levels.
  • Develop company’s recruitment policies and procedures and follow up implementation.
  • Develop an exceptional recruiting/sourcing strategies and processes.
  • Source and identify qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews and evaluate candidates against job requirements and organizational culture fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates and follow up regarding their feedback.
  • Develop interviewing and shortlisting methodologies including technical tests wherever applicable.
  • Conduct reference checks and negotiate job offers with selected candidates.
  • Coordinate and manage the entire pre-joining and onboarding process.
  • Following up on conducting the performance evaluation before the end of the probation period.
  • Conduct exit interviews with leaving staff and maintain a feedback report to be presented to the management on monthly base.
  • Build relationships with external recruiting partners, such as staffing agencies and job boards, to ensure a strong talent pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national labor laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years’ experience working in talent acquisition jobs with at least 5 years’ experience in Construction (Civil Main Contracting Companies) in UAE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources / Business Administration
