Looking for System Administrator in Dubai based Company.

Job Description for Cloud, Storage & Backup

• Manage and support Dell Storage datastores being present to ESXi hosts.
• Work with capacity management technicians to implement internal storage, external SAN and NAS.
• Configure distributed devices and setup policies on VMWARE active/active cluster environment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot critical customer infrastructure utilizing SYSLOG, SNMP and other monitoring software.
• Support a 7x24x365 global enterprise communications infrastructure consisting of: voice and network communications hardware.
• Configure DNS, DHCP, RRAS VPN, PPTP, L2TP, IPSEC services and protocols.
• Used VMware standalone converter for P2V V2V conversion.
• Image retention, duplication and edit using VMWare and PVS.
• Install, configure, monitor and upgrade enterprise-level Dell, HPE & Lenovo Servers & Storages.
• Create group policies and Active Directory
• Extensive operational experience implementing and supporting Microsoft cloud security technologies and services such as Defender for Endpoints, Microsoft Cloud App Security, Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender, Microsoft Defender for Office 365
• Understanding the current default setup and roll-out of Microsoft Defender for endpoints (MDATP)
• Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences
• Be an active mentor and a trusted security advisor for the organization, driving our security culture
• Assess the storage and backup solutions in use by our current installed-base customers
• Evaluate customer needs based on applications requirements, current capacity and growth trends
• Deliver engineering specifications, assist with functional specifications, and collaborate on technical designs and specifications for projects and initiatives.
• Estimate effort, both development and product delivery timelines, to determine a course of action for project.
• Analyze complex hardware and software issues associated with backup-related technologies, including NetBackup, CommVault, Data Domain and Enterprise Vault.

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate- server 2016, 2012 (MCSA)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• Any Dell, HPE or Equivalent Implementation Certificate
• Knowledge
• Knowledge of Symantec NetBackup, Commvault Simpana and similar backup technologies
• Knowledge of Enterprise storage systems from EMC, NetApp, NDS and similar systems
• Experience with Enterprise data protection and disaster recover solution, and understand Enterprise application data management requirements
• Mandatory
• System Integrator/ Reseller or Vendor Experience is must.
