Description:
Solo Systems is looking for a System Administrator Application Support & specialist based in Abu Dhabi – UAE for only an immediate join to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage network servers and technology tools
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years’ experience in IT & IS field with MySQL/MS SQL Database background
- Experience in Web Systems Applications and server management
- Experience in MS environment.
- Experience on Mobility Applications and Web services.
- Experience on Systems Integration and API
- Well experienced in Information Systems
- Proficiency in SQL Database
- Experience in Server Management
- Proficiency in Cloud Based Platforms (AZURE environment)
- Knowledge on Content and correspondents Management Systems
- Able to build Documentations, process flows and user training guidelines regarding supported business applications is a must.
- Experience in “application deployment, Application Implementation Specialist/ Application Admin
