Balmer Lawrie (UAE) LLC is currently looking for candidates for the position of Supervisor Printing Line

Job Location – Dubai

Roles & Responsibilities

Processing and Troubleshooting

• Responsible to sequence the jobs in conjunction to the production plan and issue to the production line.
• Responsible for Pre-press approval & proofreading from Equios with customer-approved artwork.
• Follow Right first time & every time to avoid scrap/rework & non-conformities.
• Responsible for the Effective utilization of manpower.
• Responsible to improve the Turnover Time.
• Follow through preventive maintenance schedule listing of jobs.
• General supervision and inspection during printing operations

Continuous Improvement

• Continuous improvement of existing processes
• Optimization of make ready time, runtime and run speed.
• To work with engineering team to resolve technical & process issues.
• Assists with corrective actions to resolve non-conformances as root causes are identified.
• Scientific approach to problem solving machine issues.
• Participate in 5S initiatives and cost saving opportunities.

Documentation

• Preparation, ownership and implementation of SOPs & process related documents with 100 % traceability.
• Assists closure of all non-conformance reports (NCR / CCR) within the specified timeframe
• Generating documents to meet ISO standards & requirements.
• Ensure that all the manufacturing processes are in strict adherence to HSE standards like ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Subordinate Development

• Update Skill Matrix on regular intervals based on the skill levels of the operators.
• Hand hold, coach and Mentor team members to develop skill considering the present & future requirements of the department.
• Motivate team members to participate in the Suggestion scheme.
• Assist in continuous improvement activities of the organization by training the technicians.
