Description:
Store Supervisor required
We are looking for someone who can handle and manage below responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using digital inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with procurement team to replenish stock levels as needed.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and losses.
Distribution:
- Coordinate the distribution of materials and supplies to various departments within the shipyard.
- Ensure that materials are delivered to the production areas in a timely manner to avoid disruptions.
- Maintain a well-organized storage layout to facilitate easy access and efficient retrieval of items.
Supervision and Training:
- Supervise store staff, including storekeepers and material handlers.
- Provide training and guidance to store personnel on proper inventory management procedures and safety protocols.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues in a timely manner.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety regulations and procedures within the store area to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations pertaining to inventory management and material handling.
Reporting:
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and procurement activities.
- Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide recommendations to management for optimizing inventory control processes and reducing costs.
- Can write and speak English
