Store Keeper required
Reports to: Finance Manager
Supervises: Nil
Minimum Educational Qualification Required: High school, Degree or diploma in engineering or graduate in any science discipline.
Exposure to quality systems like ISO 9001 and ERP package are preferable.
Minimum Work experience required: 1 yr for graduate engineer and 3 yrs for diploma holder / graduate in science / High school in any well established company in purchase function. Purchasing experience in fabrication industry is preferable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives and verifies the incoming materials.
- Keeps records to maintain stocks.
- Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in stores, tool rooms or other specified areas.
- Marks stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools or other labeling equipment.
- Verifies inventory computations periodically with physical stock and investigate if any discrepancies.
- Inspects stock items periodically and ensures that no damage / degradation occurs.
- Returns damaged / defective items to Vendor with proper approval and documentation.
- Issues materials against the material requests and maintains records.
- Does Customs documentation for incoming material / outgoing finished products if needed.
- Arranges disposal of scrap materials periodically.
- Assigns work to driver for delivery of finished goods and pick-up of raw materials.
- Takes care of the facility and inspects any water leak, degradation electrical wiring etc
- Arranges water supply on time.
- Ensures no pilferage of store items
- Monitors scrap loading and ensure that weights are recorded correctly.
- Does any other job entrusted from time to time by the management.

- Exposure to heat, dust and noise from time to time.
