Job Title: Staff Accountant – Remote
Location: Brooklyn Center, Minnesota
We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our esteemed finance team! In this pivotal role, you will significantly contribute to our month-end operations, including general ledger closings, account reconciliations, and comprehensive reporting. We seek a meticulous and cooperative individual eager to enhance our commitment to delivering outstanding value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the month-end closing processes by preparing and recording journal entries, generating trial balances, and reconciling accounts.
- Review and maintain inventory accounts to ensure accuracy in both general and subsidiary ledgers.
- Oversee the management of the company’s fixed assets inventory, including depreciation schedules and physical asset audits.
- Administer all general ledger cash accounts for our headquarters and remote store locations, executing monthly bank reconciliations, credit card processing, and cash transfers.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and manage warranty credits and related documentation.
- Process irrigation rebate filings, follow up on outstanding rebates, and manage rebate credit processing.
- Distribute monthly financial statements to various departments and conduct thorough monthly expense analyses.
- Generate sales reports for sales team commission payments and reconcile these reports with the general ledger.
- Execute additional general accounting tasks and reporting as assigned.
- Continuously assess and identify opportunities to enhance and streamline our accounting processes.

- Proficiency in Infor Cloudsuite Distribution and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Qualifications
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, along with 1-3 years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates equivalent knowledge.

Compensation And Benefits
