Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Execute month-end and year-end accounting closing processes; prepare reconciliations and journal entries and support the preparation of financial statements.
• Conduct daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
• Facilitate expense reimbursement procedures while ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation.
• Scrutinize financial results to guarantee the completeness and precision of financial reporting.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing accounting and operational processes through automation and best practices in the industry.
• Assist in the implementation of ERP systems, perform ad hoc reporting and analysis, and contribute to special projects as assigned.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and provide assistance as necessary.
• Engage in corporate compliance efforts, including audits and tax-related activities.
• Execute various operational accounting tasks to uphold internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare and distribute financial reporting packages.
• Represent the company in a professional manner during all internal and external interactions.

Required Skills

• Proficient in financial ERP systems, with a preference for NetSuite, Maxio, or Salesforce.
• Proven expertise in accounts receivable, vendor management, and dunning processes.
• Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills, fostering relationships across the organization.
• Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various levels within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least one year in an operational accounting role within a high-growth environment is required.
• Experience in SaaS companies and/or private equity-backed organizations is preferred.
• CPA certification or progression towards certification is advantageous.
