Hiring Solar Sales Engineer for our client in Dubai

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics / Renewable Energy or relevant field.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Allocate & communicate with potential leads and transfer them to solid contacts.
  • Maintain & update sales contacts & accounts.
  • Build up meeting requests for presentations, site surveys and higher-level contract negotiations.
  • Maintain and update proper and solid information in company’s dedicated sales database software.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts, or presentations for potential solar customers ensuring the transfer from lead to contract.
  • Develop content for sales presentations or other materials, develop proposals for current or prospective customers, prepares sales or other contracts.
  • Select solar energy products, systems or services for customers based on electrical energy requirements, site conditions, price or other factors.
  • Customize energy products or services to meet customer needs.
  • Provides customers with information such as quotes, orders, sales, shipping warranties, credit, funding options, incentives, or tax rebates.
  • Explain technical product or service information to customers explain financial information to customers.
  • Gather information from prospective customers to identify their solar energy needs.
  • Calculate basic potential solar resources for a particular site considering issues such as climate, shading and roof orientation.
  • Assess sites to determine suitability for solar equipment, using equipment such as tape measures compasses and computer software.
  • Act as team player as per processes setup between customer and internal engineering team with strong commitment to time. ( No Over-Promise / Under-Deliver )
  • Support marketing or strategic plans for sales territories.
  • Represent company in solar exhibitions, events and / or conferences whenever required.
  • Understand and keep up to date with all solar products, process of solar installations, solar policy and solar industries in local market.
  • Monitoring the progress of the project with the customers, post sales and following-up consistently for high level of customer satisfaction. Coordinating with technical, financial, implementation and support team for execution of the project and achieving billing targets.
  • Gather and analyze competitor data to foresee trends and competitor strategy.
  • Lead and coordinate the preparation of the offer and ensuring that other contributors provide information on time and to the correct standard that satisfy all client requirements.
  • Solicit technical compliant quotes from equipment suppliers and relevant service quotes from contractors for each offer to be submitted.
