Job Description:
The Social Media Specialist plays a pivotal role in crafting and executing the social media strategy for our e-commerce company. They are responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media channels, and fostering community engagement to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop creative and compelling content tailored to each social media platform (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) to resonate with our target audience and promote our products effectively.
- Social Media Management: Manage all aspects of our social media channels, including but not limited to posting content, responding to comments and messages, monitoring trends, and maintaining brand consistency.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives, including content calendars, campaign planning, and performance tracking.
- Community Engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with our audience by actively engaging with followers, influencers, and relevant communities to build relationships and drive brand loyalty.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations to optimize content, improve engagement, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing to continuously innovate and adapt strategies for maximum impact.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to align social media efforts with broader business goals and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
- MUST be Bilingual (Arabic & English)
