Description:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team immediately.
The role primarily involves implementing social media marketing strategies and assisting the marketing and design team with broader marketing functions like content creation, copywriting, blog writing, designing flyers, editing videos and other ad hoc requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on social media content planning and execution
- Content creation (text, image and video)
- Brainstorm and come up with creative ideas to reach the target audience
- Work closely with the marketing team and assist with any content-related tasks
- Online reputation management and responding effectively to online queries
- Create and maintain a consistent tone of voice for the brand online
- Engage with the audience on social media and facilitate conversations
- Monitor, evaluate and review marketing campaigns and advertising to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience in a similar role, internship experience will also be considered
- Knowledgeable in social media platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and the functions within them
- Comfortable with capturing content using mobile devices
- Working knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva and Adobe suite
- Excellent English communication skills
- Keen interest in Digital Marketing
Good to have:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing/media or related roles
- Proofreading skills
- Proactive approach to meeting deadlines
- Good eye for design
- Photography and videography skills
- Excellent time-management skills
