Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in maritime, engineering or logistics discipline or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ of Project Manager experience in UAE, managing large and small projects, and multiple projects simultaneously
• 3-5 years of experience in preferably Shipping and Marine or Oil & Gas Field.
• Must have working knowledge of industry standard business support systems i.e. project planning packages, cost management systems, ISO9001 quality management systems
• Must have excellent leadership, planning, delivery and communication skills
• Shipping / Marine industry knowledge and experience will be an advantage.

Job Role:

• Responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time & within the budget.
• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met.
• Review progress and liaise with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
• Monitor the site supervisors/ foreman’s in charge of the work on daily basis and subsequently keep track of execution of the work.
• Maintain quality control procedures
• Daily report to be made regarding progress of work on site. Report will include manpower allocation on site for various activities on site and no of hour’s job being executed on daily bases.
• Supervise and keep a track of hiring of equipment ensuring the hiring of equipment or services is for a minimum period and in time.
