Hiring Site Architect

Reports To: Tecnical Manager

Job Summary:

The Site Architect is responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of the development and construction of buildings and other structures. This role involves designing, planning, and managing construction projects from inception to completion. The Site Architect ensures that projects adhere to all design, safety, and regulatory standards while meeting the client’s specifications and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Design:

  • Develop architectural designs and concepts that meet client requirements.
  • Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and needs.
  • Present design proposals and make modifications based on client feedback.

2. Construction Management:

  • Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with architectural plans.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and quality of work.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.

3. Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure that designs and constructions comply with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation to regulatory authorities.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.

4- Team Collaboration:

  • Lead and collaborate with a team of architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • Licensed Architect (depending on regional requirements).
  • Minimum [5] years of experience in architectural design and site management.
  • Proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to visit and inspect construction sites.
  • Capacity to work in various weather conditions.
  • Physical ability to walk, climb, and navigate around construction sites.
