Description:
Hiring Ship Agency Manager who will be responsible for handling all agency activities in coordination with various port authorities to ensure smooth vessel operations at port inclusive but not limited to all offshore/ bunkering/ husbandry services. And also responsible for developing the business, department and establish all necessary permits required for operations.
Correspondence with various types of Principles like Ship Owners, Operators, Charterers, Shippers, Consignees.
Review and approve the Proforma Disbursement Account (PDA) prior vessels call and submission of Final Disbursement Account (FDA) after the completion of vessels call to submit along with the various Port Bills and other receipts.
Handling various types of vessels agency (as Marine Agent or Cargo Agent) at various Ports.
Liaising with various Service Providers like Bunker Suppliers, Fresh Water Suppliers etc. as per the instructions from the vessel owners as well as catering to the request from Masters of the vessels calling under the Agency.
Husbandry Agency (Crew Changes | Bunkering & Lube Supply | Supplies | Repairs | Sludge Removal | Garbage Disposal | Fresh Water Supply | Crew Medical Assistances | Hull Cleaning etc.).
Knowledge in executing PDA’s for various locations such as Dubai Abu Dhabi, Fujairah & Ras Al Khaimah.
Communicate with the customer to establish precise requirements to ensure the PDA is accurate and reflects the customer’s request.
Vessel attendance as vessel operator, to be responsible for all communication, coordination with Sub Agent/ Port/ terminal and other authorities, coordinate with Sub Agents for timely attendance for clearance and other requirements.
Ensure the Vessel is attended by the Sub Agents as per the QMS & meets all KPI’s set.
Port call timings, Data integrity is maintained promptly and accurately.
Overseeing the operations desk and ensure day to day activities runs timely and smoothly as per principal’s requirement to maintain service level.
