Hiring SEO Specialist
An SEO (Search Engine Optimization) specialist is responsible for improving a website’s visibility and ranking on search engines like Google. The goal is to drive more organic traffic to the site and increase the site’s relevance and authority in the eyes of search engines. Some common responsibilities in an SEO specialist role include:
- Conducting keyword research and analysis to determine target keywords and phrases
- Optimizing website content and structure to improve search engine ranking and visibility
- Monitoring and analyzing website traffic and search engine ranking data to make informed optimizations
- Staying up-to-date with current search engine algorithms and industry trends
- Collaborating with other departments (e.g. content, development) to ensure SEO best practices are integrated throughout the site
- Developing and implementing link building strategies to improve the site’s authority and visibility.
