Hiring Senior Technical Consultant (Contract – 12 Months & Extendable)

Are you a seasoned expert in Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies, with a knack for Java and middleware solutions? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, working with our esteemed client.

Overview:

As a Senior Technical Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration of systems and applications using ESB technologies, particularly Apache Camel. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing ESB solutions within the banking, fintech, or financial services domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ESB solutions using Java and middleware technologies.
Implement and troubleshoot Apache Camel routes for efficient message routing and transformation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate API and middleware with IBM MQ.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on ESB architecture and design principles.
Analyze and resolve maintenance issues and bugs in ESB implementations.
Stay updated with industry standards and best practices related to ESB technologies and ISO standards.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure deliverable quality.
Document technical specifications, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of ESB solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Java and middleware technologies, with a focus on ESB implementations.
Proficiency in Apache Camel for message routing and transformation.
Experience in API and middleware integration with IBM MQ.
Previous experience in banking, fintech, or financial services sectors is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes is a plus.
Familiarity with ISO standards related to messaging and integration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
