Job Purpose:
Plays a critical role in attracting, identifying, and hiring top talent to meet the organization’s staffing needs.
Responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding, while also providing strategic guidance to the talent acquisition team.
Job Description:
- Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify potential candidates
- Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
- Assess the qualifications and fit of candidates through resume reviews, phone screenings, and interviews.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Provide expertise in creating job descriptions, job postings, and compensation packages.
- Advise on market trends, industry benchmarks, and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Conduct in-depth interviews, behavioral assessments, and skills evaluations to ensure candidate quality.
- Collaborate with interview panels to ensure consistency and alignment with hiring goals.
- Manage pre-employment checks and reference verifications.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience by providing regular communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process.
- Address candidate questions, concerns, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software to manage candidate data, track progress, and generate reports.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging recruiting technologies and tools to enhance the recruitment process.
- Collect and analyze recruitment data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
- Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics and provide insights to management.
Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility. Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.
Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a track record of progressively more responsible roles.
