About the job

We’re actively recruiting for a Senior Staff Accountant to support our Accounts Payable function. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounts Payable, the Staff Accountant is responsible for accounts payable and employee reimbursements.

We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely within the US.

Primary Duties:

  • Oversee full invoice process in AP system, including: reviewing the accuracy of invoices and approvals and updating invoice coding and approvals when necessary and; reviewing invoice processing by junior members; managing outstanding invoices and ensuring invoices are paid timely
  • Manage emails submitted to the AP inbox
  • Vendor management, including: onboarding new vendors in AP system and updating payment preference when necessary; collecting W9s from vendors; setting up new vendors in Tipalti
  • Work with the performance team on practice payments, including advanced pay program, and enter bills into NetSuite
  • Troubleshooting financial system synchronization errors
  • Manage Navan and Expensify workflows
  • Other ad-hoc requests as needed, including implementation of new financial systems

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable
  • Strong analytical skills, with Excel experience
  • Astute attention to detail

Preferred knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:

  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, results driven, rapidly changing environment and effectively handle competing priorities; flexibility, resourcefulness and comfort with ambiguity; ability to embrace change and build structure into a less defined work environment

  • Tipalti experience
  • Healthcare/SaaS experience
  • Ability to identify problems and drive appropriate people and process solutions
