Senior Sourcing Executive required
As a Senior Sourcing Executive, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process of sourcing high-quality merchandise for corporate gifting purposes. You will work closely with suppliers and ensure the timely delivery of products while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing client relationships through thoughtful and tailored gifting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely communication and adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and source a diverse range of merchandise suitable for corporate gifting, including but not limited to promotional items, luxury goods, and personalized gifts.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals while maintaining quality standards and budget constraints.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure all sourced products meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and emerging products to offer innovative and relevant gifting solutions to clients.
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets, optimizing costs without compromising on quality or client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales and account management teams to understand client requirements and preferences, providing customized gifting solutions that align with their branding and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including product safety standards, import/export regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing activities, including supplier performance, cost analysis, and market trends, to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience of min 3 to 4 years in customized sourcing/ procurement in the corporate gifting industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Knowledge of ethical sourcing practices and sustainability initiatives in procurement is a plus.
