Hiring Senior Solar Engineer

The Job Description

• Cost Estimation Engineering and Site execution work for Solar PV projects, Wind Energy Projects.
• The candidate should have track record of successfully executing a wide array of high valued projects involving Solar PV projects, solar rooftop projects, electrification, transmission and distribution projects, turnkey projects for electrical constructions, solar power plants, Wind Energy projects, etc.
• Studying detailed project plans, conducting land surveys, Sub-Contractor / Vendor selection, conducting contract, and price negotiation
• Closely monitoring project planning and progress check-ins, estimating project costs, sticking to a budget, reviewing project quality compared to the desired objectives

Responsible for overall productivity & cost-effectiveness of the projects

• Preparing cost estimation and attending pre-tender and post-tender meetings.
• Conduct kick-off meetings with Project Managers at the start-up of projects to confer on the project milestones and key dates and to detect any anticipatory risks with relevant necessary preventive measures.
• Explore new business opportunities and ventures.
• Capable to lead, train and motivate the team members ensuring their positive contribution to the company and ensuring optimum utilization of available resources while controlling overhead costs and enhancing productivity
• Effectively maintain client relations in order to develop the business
• Required to collaborate with Project Managers Project Team to ensure smooth operations and financial wellbeing of the company within the area.
• Ensures timely Close out of projects.
• Ensure a pivotal link between the project execution team and the Senior Management.
• Electrical Engineering graduate, preferably Project Management professional
• Should have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience out of which at least 5 years in the Gulf region
• Should be ready to visit, stay too closely monitor the execution of the Renewable energy projects
