Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on our infrastructure piping projects in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will hold an engineering degree and have a deep understanding of quantity surveying, project management, and cost control principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure piping projects.
- Create accurate bills of quantities and cost plans.
- Oversee and manage cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotes and tenders.
- Offer expertise in value engineering to ensure cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to monitor project progress.
- Identify and assess potential risks, providing recommendations for mitigation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in infrastructure piping.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
