Senior QS/Estimator for Construction & Fit-out works:

Location: Dubai – United Arab Emirates

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: 8,000 AED – 10,000 AED per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare BOQs and quotations based on drawings or site visits.
• Measure and calculate the cost of materials.
• Prepare tender submissions and take-offs.
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret plans.
• Keep track of materials procured for projects.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in the construction, interior design and Fit-out industry in the UAE (mainly for retail, residential, and F & B projects).
• Have a strong understanding of construction methodologies.
• Ability to analyze project variations and changes, prepare project reports, and analyze information for adjustments to project budget as necessary to ensure a successful project for the client and the firm.
• Proficiency in using estimation software and other relevant tools.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of local market rates and suppliers would be advantageous.
• Good Coordination and Organization Skills.
• Teamwork and Team management.
• Able to join immediately.
• A driving license is a plus.
