Hiring Senior Project Manager

Role Purpose:

The Senior Project Manager at ManpowerGroup Middle East is responsible for planning, mobilizing, and directing high-complexity and large-scale projects from inception to completion.

They oversee end-to-end project planning and delivery, ensuring proactive management of scope, schedule, budget, risks, team dynamics, outcomes, and benefits.

These projects may stand alone or be part of a broader program, deploying Global Transformation Project Management Frameworks and Business Transformation Frameworks (BTF).

The role entails close collaboration with Programme Managers to align projects with overall change portfolios, Group Strategy, Values, and Behaviors.

Senior Project Managers also often assume a leadership role in managing teams and may have line management responsibilities for junior resources within Global Transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate closely with Programme Managers to ensure project alignment with broader change initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, potentially managing a pool of Project Managers.
  • Drive project delivery at pace while controlling outcomes to achieve business case objectives.
  • Employ Agile methodologies and best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement change management strategies and ensure benefits realization.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Comprehensive understanding of project lifecycle and Business Transformation Frameworks.
  • Extensive experience managing large, complex projects within banking environments.
  • Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, achieving stated business outcomes.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management, impactful communication, and governance practices.
  • Prior experience in managing diverse teams across multiple work streams.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior resources in project management practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

  • Proven capabilities in planning, process re-engineering, risk management, and business analysis.
  • Strong decision-making skills, commercial acumen, and customer empathy.
  • Certification in PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
  • Optional qualifications include MSP (Managing Successful Programmes), Prince2, or relevant local banking certifications such as ACIB.
