Position: Senior Project Manager for Fitout & Joinery works

Salary: AED 20,000.00 – AED 25,000.00 per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Review the contract documents, and BOQ and advise the Construction Manager of any deficiency.
• Prepare project schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
• Review As-Built drawings as submitted by the CLIENT Contractor.
• Review and approve the Contractor’s submittals.
• Review shop drawings and ensure its compliance with design requirements and submit as per the approved schedules.
• Review and monitor Logs and approval of Materials.
• Follow the Fit-Out Execution process and use PMTs as designated in the procedure.
• Regular visits to Project sites to ensure the quality of work follows BOQ requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report any deviations to the Construction Manager.
• Make sure that external contractors have submitted the Method Statement, Quality Control Procedure, and inspection and test Plan prior to starting the relevant activity.
• Review and approval of Method Statement, Quality Control Procedure, and Inspection and test Plan as submitted by the Contractor and ensure its compliance with all contract requirements.
• Advise PMT project management team Quality and Safety Engineers as well as Project Manager of noticed non-compliance cases during site visits.
• Regular spot checks of material delivered to the site via material inspection request and direct the relevant site Engineer to ensure that it is as per approved materials and in good condition.
• Closely monitor the fit-out subcontractor’s construction performance and advise the management/client in case of deficiency or poor performance.
• Attend site and technical Meetings with PTM, sub-contractor, and Weekly Progress Meetings if required.
• Ensure full coordination between all other Departments has been carried out for all External and Internal MEP services.
• Review operation and maintenance manuals of trades related to his discipline and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Make sure that any non-conformity has been reported through a Non-Conformance Report. All NCRs shall be coordinated with the PMT Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Assist Handover Process & Completion Certificate.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in fit-out, and joinery industry in UAE
• Experience in technical drawing review and site execution
• Fluent in English and Arabic is a plus.
• Technical review and practical designs
• Able to join immediately
• Driving License is a plus
