Description:

An Auto Accessories Manufacturing company is looking for Senior Product Engineer.

Location: Al Quoz, Dubai

Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in Product Engineering

Education: Bachelor of Engineering /Diploma- Automotive/Mechanical

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Product Development team to finalize product ideas.
• Check product installation feasibility and prepare design of the product accordingly.
• Convert Images or Sketches or Drawings to 3D model.
• Create 3D model based on the scan data (Mesh file / STL File).
• Convert 3D simulation to Actual Engineered Product including a surface & B surface creation.
• Create detailed 2D Drawings as per automotive industry standards and customer requirements.
• Define Product Material of each kit components.
• Prepare Installation Manual of the products.
• Justify the design performance with the help of CAD tools. For e.g. FEA Analysis

Key Skills:

• Understanding of Automotive Interior and Exterior Parts Engineering and installation. (Example – Bumpers, interior trim panels, lighting etc.)
• Understanding of Automotive Standards and Regulations for designing genuine vehicle components
• Able to do reverse engineering from Scan data or physical part. (Mesh to CAD / STL to STP or IGES).
• Knowledge of materials (Plastics and Metal) and its manufacturing processes.
• Able to predict expected failures in production or on field and manage to make changes during design phase.
