Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Network Security Engineer to lead our network security efforts and ensure the protection of our organization’s critical assets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network security technologies, protocols, and best practices, as well as a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing robust security solutions. As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our network infrastructure and sensitive information against evolving cyber threats.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Should have worked in similar role for minimum of 3 years either as senior network security or network security engineer.
- Knowledge of Wireless networking environment and worked in setting up organization level network from beginning.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in network security roles, specifically in managing firewalls (FortiGate, Huawei, cisco, etc).
- In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEMs, and encryption protocols.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, architecture, and concepts.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Proven experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior security team members.
