Hiring Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager

Location: Jafza One, Jebel Ali Free Zone, United Arab Emirates

Job Description:

As our first Senior HR Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with our business strategy. This role will oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes, supporting business needs and ensuring the proper implementation of the company strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead the HR department, developing its policies, strategies, and procedures from the ground up.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent within the tobacco trading industry.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization.
  • Oversee employee relations, including managing grievances and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
  • Implement performance review processes to enhance employee performance and identify training needs.
  • Administer compensation and benefits, including salary, health insurance, annual ticket allowance, performance bonuses, and salary increases based on performance.
  • Offer strategic HR advice, guiding the company through growth phases and organizational development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a strong preference for candidates with UAE experience
  • Proven experience in setting up an HR department is highly advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE labor legislation and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
