About the Role: Mathews Metal Manufacturing LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Façade Quantity Surveyor to lead our invoicing, tendering, and commercial operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the aluminium and glass façade industry, with hands-on experience in project valuations, cost analysis, and contract administration.
This role is critical to maintaining financial health across our projects and ensuring timely, accurate commercial reporting to clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and certify interim payment applications, project valuations, and final accounts in accordance with contract terms.
- Lead and manage tendering processes, including quantity take-offs, pricing, technical clarifications, and bid submission documentation.
- Review and interpret contract documents, BOQs, drawings, and specifications, ensuring alignment with tender and invoicing requirements.
- Analyze and monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and advise on cost-saving measures.
- Identify and document variations, claims, and potential contractual risks, coordinating closely with project managers.
- Evaluate and administer subcontractor and supplier payments, including measurement, certification, and negotiation of variations.
- Attend commercial meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment of financial expectations and deliverables.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all commercial activities, including tender logs, variation registers, and claim documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in quantity surveying within the façade, aluminium, and glass industry—preferably in the UAE or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of façade systems, cladding, curtain walling, aluminium fabrication, and relevant construction methodologies.
- Solid understanding of contract law, FIDIC conditions, and standard QS practices.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, and working knowledge of contract/QS software (e.g., Candy, CCS, or BuildSmart).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Arabic is an advantage).
