Description:

We need Senior Estimator Quantity Surveyor- Interior and Fit out Company/Joinery – below are the Job Responsibilities:

• Support the general manager.
• Study BOQ and providing cost and estimation of the project.
• Compile all tender bids, ensure it is complete in all aspects of pricing, submission and check all estimating and tendering aspects relevant to the project implementation in the region.
• Ensure the estimators prepare upon award of the project, a summary of the job including cost of labor, material, quantity and quality of the material required strictly as per the specification of the client to ensure that they are as per the prescribed parameters.
• Assist the Estimating Manager during post tender negotiation / clarification with clients so as to arrive at a tangible decision on tenders with a view to obtain the job with maximum markups and profits.
• Update construction cost database to order and track purchased materials, labor and supplies needed for projects and monitors, reviews and oversees contracts submitting bids that determine cost and stated duration of project.
• Updates unit Rates, material cost databases, labor and construction equipment rates to keep them current & prepares construction estimates for Job Change Notices (JCN).
• Communicate with Architects to clarify project estimating questions in all areas of the project.
• Review project specifications and contact necessary individuals to resolve questions and irregularities within the project specifications. Review project specifications and contact necessary individuals to resolve questions and irregularities within the project specifications.
• Work with engineers to interpret blueprints or conceptual drawings of the project. Find problems associated with the project, product assembly, and testing to correct the problems.
• Predict the expense of the future projects or products by analyzing monetary costs and other factors to provide good estimate for the project. Track projects throughout its course to recommend budget adjustments of the project.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Perform other related task.
