Description:
Senior Estimation Engineer Mechanical required for a well known MEP Company in UAE.
Role Purpose: Reporting to the Estimation Manager and working closely with the technical team, trade estimators, procurement team and site teams, the role is responsible for managing all aspects of the tender from stage of receiving RFQ to successful Bid submission.
Key Accountabilities:
- Strong Leadership skill and understanding how all aspects of the project fit together.
- Serve as the technical expert on assigned tender, providing support and direction to Mid-level / Junior estimators.
- To identify new techniques / current trends in engineering technology and implement in tendering that may improve efficiency or performance.
- Study the RFQ tender documents, highlight the scope of work, design issues & prepare needed RFIs.
- Conduct regular progress meetings with team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project status, progress, and challenges.
- Oversee, Provide technical support and co-ordinate the work of Junior engineers throughout the duration of a tender process.
- Updating the pricing data base as per the market condition on a regular basis.
- Tracking and Updating Supplier / Subcontractor profile in co-ordination with Junior Estimators
