Hiring Senior Broker
Location - DIFC, Dubai
Job Summary – We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Broker to join our dynamic team at YOA DIFC. You will play a crucial role in supporting our COO and client service teams to ensure the seamless execution of reinsurance solutions. Your reinsurance market knowledge, possession of a wide network and strong communication skills will be vital to our success in this role.
Key Responsibilities – Originate and develop market relationships with insurance and reinsurance carriers in the MENA region.
Identify suitable markets for inbound reinsurance opportunities and work with cross functional teams in development and execution of placement strategies.
Finalize market submissions and design risk solutions with client service and origination teams.
Receive and monitor technical questions from insurance and reinsurers carriers and co-ordinate with internal team to provide appropriate responses.
Provide regular updates on changing MENA insurance and reinsurance market dynamics affecting various types of coverage.
Adhere to all best practices and the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior in all activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 12 years’ experience in reinsurance within the UAE and/or the Middle east.
- Strong background and technical experience in reinsurance practice across treaty and Facultative.
- Strong communication skills, will be with additional advantage if fluent in French and Arabic
- Subject matter understanding in any of the key lines of reinsurance business like Property, Engineering, Energy and Marine
