Hiring Senior Architect
Location: Abu Dhabi
Currently hiring for a Senior Architect role in Abu Dhabi for one of my clients—a leading multinational architecture and planning company.
Job Summary:
- Will mentor other Architects, interpret client briefs, and review contracts and designs.
- Must have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of CAD software, and the ability to handle negative feedback.
- Meets with clients to assess their needs and requirements and present design projects from concept to development to completion.
- Develop and pitch project proposals and adjust designs and plans according to client needs and requests.
- Involved in preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents, and conducting research, compiling reports on feasibility studies and environmental impacts.
Key Accountabilities:
- Reports to the Head of Architecture and Design.
- Assists the Head of Architecture and Design in reviewing all relevant documents and reporting discrepancies and non-compliance of documents and executed works.
- Works with the Design Coordinator to review architectural implications of changes or any value engineering proposed, ensuring no impact on site supervision works associated with the tendered scheme.
- Supervises Architectural Inspectors in their workload programming and works closely with other departments to ensure architectural design is fully coordinated with other disciplines.
- Coordinates all architectural issues between the interior design architectural elements and the Architect, MEP, and other specialists.
- Ensures the design is seamlessly conveyed to the site, transfers design intent, and clarifies discrepancies, ensuring technical compliance and functionality at a high level of quality.
- Ensures that coordinated design information is provided from the design team and monitors activities and quality standards.
- Prepares responses to architectural RFIs and client comments.
- Programs the workload of the Architectural project team.
- Prepares procedures for departmental review and contractor plan assessments.
- Assists in reviewing contractor project control processes and procedures.
- Reviews and comments on project progress reports.
- Maintains all required data and ensures seamless documentation of all departmental processes.
- Oversees regular and irregular site visits and inspections.
- Coordinates design or construction issues with relevant departments.
- Reviews and approves drawings before issuing them to the client, authorities, and subconsultants.
