Overview Of The Role

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and dedicated Senior Accounting Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role involves overseeing a variety of accounting functions and ensuring operational excellence through effective collaboration with internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute bookkeeping activities such as categorization, job costing, and reconciliation.
  • Manage comprehensive bookkeeping tasks while employing advanced accounting tools and systems, including POS setup, QuickBooks Online (QBO) integration, and handling accounts receivable/payable.
  • Oversee both cash and accrual accounting processes, preferably with multi-client experience.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, conduct reconciliations, and ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP standards.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes, regular reviews, month-end close, year-end close, and other essential client lifecycle events.
  • Communicate proficiently with clients, addressing inquiries, gathering necessary information, and clearly conveying bookkeeping data.
  • Foster continuous improvement in our automated bookkeeping systems and contribute to our business intelligence initiatives.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Proficiency in advanced accounting tools and systems.
  • Strong communication abilities for effective client interaction.
  • Detail-oriented with a capacity to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
