Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Senior Accountant, you will take on a variety of essential responsibilities, including:

• Reviewing and preparing accurate financial statements while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Managing month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and detailed analysis.
• Assisting clients with budgeting and financial forecasting, delivering invaluable financial insights.
• Guaranteeing compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior accountants, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance system efficiencies and workflows.
• Supporting tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with all pertinent tax laws and regulations.
• Engaging in effective communication with clients, delivering timely financial updates and addressing their inquiries.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance with a strong emphasis on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or other relevant certifications are preferred.
• Extensive hands-on experience with month-end close procedures, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards.
• Outstanding communication skills to convey complex financial data to diverse audiences.
• Strong leadership capabilities to mentor junior team members effectively.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and relevant technological tools.
