Hiring Senior Accountant Officer – Accounts and Finance

Location: UAE

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant Officer with extensive experience in the construction and contracting industry within the GCC region.

Responsibilities:

• Handle invoice booking and timely follow-up on payments within the construction and contracting sector.
• Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) for all banks and manage Bank Guarantees (BGs) and security checks.
• Formulate and manage the Wage Protection System (WPS) for employee payments.
• Maintain detailed records of banking transactions and coordinate audits with external auditors and statutory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and manage Post Dated Cheques (PDC) effectively.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare reports to support financial decision-making.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP or similar accounting software.
• Manage salary payments and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant Officer in a construction and contracting company in the GCC region.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, payment follow-up, and financial reporting within the industry.
• Experience with VAT compliance and knowledge of local statutory requirements.
• Knowledge of WPS procedures and regulations.
