Role Overview
We are in search of an analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting Department. In this pivotal role, you will play an essential part in supporting our organizational growth and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will manage crucial accounting functions, uphold compliance with US GAAP, conduct technical accounting research, and facilitate both internal projects and external audits, contributing to our overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end close activities for designated areas, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for various entities.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to execute month, quarter, and year-end closing activities in alignment with US GAAP standards.
- Aid in the preparation of both internal and external financial statements, encompassing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and related footnotes and schedules.
- Conduct research to ensure adherence to evolving accounting standards and regulations.
- Refresh technical accounting memos and policies as necessary, maintaining the integrity of our accounting practices.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, offering innovative solutions when applicable.
- Coordinate and engage in internal and external audits by preparing necessary schedules, addressing queries, and ensuring effective internal control systems.
- Participate in and lead various ad-hoc analyses and projects to support strategic initiatives.

Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a pertinent field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant corporate accounting experience; experience in public accounting and/or CPA certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with NetSuite is advantageous; experience with SOX compliance and FloQast is a plus.
- Proven ability to conduct technical accounting research and maintain technical accounting memos and policies.
