Job Description – Senior Accountant – GL
We are looking for a diligent Senior Accountant (GL) to join our Team. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and month/year end closing Process.
To be successful, you should be able to accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance & (IFRS). Should have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the general ledger, including posting journal entries and ensuring accuracy in account balances.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, which include prepaid expenses, provisions and other closing requirements.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reflected in the general ledger.
- Manage fixed asset records, including tracking asset purchases, recording costs, and calculating depreciation.
- Reconcile the accounts of internal and external related parties companies on a monthly basis, communicate with accountants and settle accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting information
- Assist Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support and assist in agencies and JV working.
- Support and report direct the Chief Accountant.
- Any other tasks required by the work
Required to that role:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Minimum five years of experience in accounting.
- Working knowledge of IFRS
- Good problem-solving and time management skills
- Work under pressure.
